Nestled within the 95 acres of Astoria Park Conservancy just outside of the ever-popular Jackson Hole, Wyoming, lies the Astoria Hot Springs Park. This sensational destination is home to breathtaking views that all ages can enjoy as they soak in one of the five artificial hot springs pools.
This gorgeous hot springs location was initially constructed in the 1960s. It shut down in 1999 and remained abandoned until the Astoria Park Conservancy Trust opened the new location late 2020. Today, visitors can enjoy day use of the pools. All ages are welcome, and reservations are recommended.
Hot Mineral Springs Pools

Astoria Hot Springs Park offers five man-made pools to choose from. The pools are crafted using all-natural water, besides the children’s pool, as it is slightly chillier to accommodate little adventurers. With five options to choose from, it’s easy for the entire family to find an area to enjoy.
Leisure Pool
The Leisure Pool (formerly Astoria Pool) is the biggest pool found at this park. The generous dimensions ensure enough space for all guests to relax, soak, and swim.
Children’s Pool
The Children’s Pool is perfectly constructed to suit the younger crowd. It’s slightly lower in temperature than the other pools and doesn’t exceed two feet. Being a shallow pool with lower temps, families can feel confident letting their kiddos enjoy this small slice of tranquility.
Meadow Pool
The Meadow Pool is located nearby the Leisure and Children’s Pool. It offers luxurious temperatures and is known for being a more therapeutic and relaxing option to ease aches and pains.
River Soaking Pools (Waterfall and River Pool)

The River Soaking Pools are located in a more secluded and private area to offer a superior experience.
Exotic and captivating native plants surround the Waterfall Pool to enhance your soak. It also comes with a unique water source for pinpointing the shoulders and neck, opening the doorway to utter relaxation.
The River Pool is situated above the Snake River. Water enthusiasts will love the spectacular sights while they soak in the hottest water offered at Astoria Hot Springs Park. It’s truly a magnificent sight you won’t want to miss.
