Bashford’s Hot Mineral Spa, a seasonal Niland RV hot springs resort, is situated at the foot of the Chocolate Mountains, not far from the Salton Sea. Registered visitors may soak in therapeutic pools filled with hot mineral water.
This property is open from October through May, and there are no day-use options. When open, daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available.
Mineral Hot Springs
Guests have access to two heated swimming pools and six hot tubs that can be filled or emptied as needed. From a depth of almost 500 feet, an artesian well pumps organically hot, highly mineralized water at a temperature of 150 ℉. Water cools as it travels through a tower and pipes before being poured into the soaking and swimming pools at about 101°F and 84-87°F.
Saltwater treatment is used in swimming and therapeutic pools. Since baths are emptied after each use, chemical maintenance is unnecessary.
Activities
Activities like pool aerobics, dancing, and art workshops are just some of what you can expect to find at Bashford’s Hot Mineral Spa. The green pond and its accompanying exotic palm trees provide a stunning backdrop for desert sunsets.
Just 0.3 miles north of Bashford’s Hot Mineral Spa, at Glamis North Hot Springs, you can rent ATVs to explore the nearby sand dunes, abandoned mines, and bat caves.
Camping
There are 143 RV hookup sites and various tent camping sites available at Bashford’s. It has a laundry room, pool tables, a card room, and gas, in addition to hookups. Horseshoe courts and a leisure room are all available to guests. Campers will appreciate conveniences, including a dump station, a communal fire ring, and readily accessible gas.
With its picnic area and nearby trails, this Southern California park is a fantastic place to see the region’s natural beauty. Meet up with old pals, create new ones, or just take some time for R&R in the serene desert.
