Located in Desert Hot Springs, the four-star El Morocco Inn & Day Spa facility was constructed in the 1950s on top of a network of mineral-rich thermal hot springs. The property, once known as the Caravan Spa-tel, was sold and renovated in 2001 into a Moroccan oasis with authentic furnishings from the overseas country.
This spa and thermal water facility are for day visitors and overnight guests. El Morocco Inn & Spa Resort is an adults-only destination; no children are allowed on the premises. There are no dining options offered on-site.
Adults-only Mineral Hot Springs
The hotel has two water features: a swimming pool and a hot tub. By getting into these coveted healing mineral waters, travelers can relax and take a break from their busy lives. Spa-goers can use the vast, covered Jacuzzi-style spa for up to two hours before and after their spa treatments.
The facility is open from 9 am to 4 pm during the day but is available around the clock for overnight visitors. After daytime hours have ended, overnight guests are not permitted to have visitors.

El Morocco has a full-service spa where you can get wraps, scrubs, facials, and other treatments like massages and add-ons. There is also an unbeatable sauna for anyone looking for a way to relax, heal, and feel better.
Guests who are only there for the day can use the lockers, pool towels, and robes for free. They offer free drinks like coffee, tea, and water, as well as free dried fruits, dates, and other healthy snacks.
Dining
Every morning, visitors may enjoy an enhanced continental breakfast. Aside from regular morning drinks like coffee, tea, and the hotel’s renowned mineral water, guests may also get bagels with avocado, onions, and cream cheese delivered to their room or the pool area, along with fresh fruit.
Lodging
The guest “bedchambers” at the inn are modeled after the old-world beauty of a traditional Moroccan retreat, but they still have the feel of Casablanca. Room types range from ordinary to deluxe to superior to private king. The rooms are decorated with exotic textiles that were brought all the way from Morocco.
