Found at the foot of a desert mountain range in Aguanga, Southern California, the Elm Hot Springs is a remote establishment that delivers picturesque views and several soaking options. The resort features both piping hot water to melt your troubles away, as well as mineral-rich, temperate pools.
The Elm Resort is a hidden gem found within the desert landscape about 80 miles northeast of San Diego and 110 miles southeast of Los Angeles. As such, it offers exquisite scenery sprinkled with rocks, cactus, palm trees, and stunning mountains on the horizon.
And if you’re lucky enough to visit this hot spot during the winter months, you might this vast area blanketed with a sheet of magical snow. Whether enjoying a summer vacation under sunny skies or indulging in an adventurous winter getaway, you will find several soaking options at The Elm Resort.
Mineral Hot Spring Pools
Three hot tubs are available, each filled with medicinal sulfur waters proven to relieve aches and pains, improve skin conditions, and offer impeccable peace of mind. Each tub is heated to a different temperature to cater to individual preferences.
They’re covered to shelter guests from the famous Southern California sun, although the tubs still offer remarkable views that make it seem like you’re one with nature.
The Elm Resort features two pools for those who prefer a cooler area to soak and play. Both pools overflow with medicinal sulfur water, but they’re cooled down to an utterly refreshing temperature. They provide an invigorating escape from the hot tubs and sweltering California temperatures.
Amenities
While the mineral sulfur waters are enough to lure in clientele, the Elm Hot Springs destination offers many other amenities to create a memorable and stress-free trip.
There’s both an indoor and outdoor communal kitchen for preparing meals.
