Located northwest of Lewistown, Gigantic Warm Springs is a natural swimming area and is famed as a beautiful refuge on a sunny day. The facility provides stunning views of Central Montana’s landscape and a chance for visitors to have a picnic and take a dip at one of Big Sky Country’s outstanding natural beauties.
Natural Warm Springs Pool

An estimated 50,000 gallons of Gigantic Warm Spring’s 68°F crystal-clear water pour out of the spring every minute, making it one of the largest natural springs in the world. This geothermal source is also called the “World’s Largest Warm Spring” and is completely untreated.
Wearing swimming clothing is required for getting in the water. The swimming area is 5,000 square feet and reaches a depth of 14 feet.
The Vanek family has operated the springs since the early 1940s and built the wooden deck that surrounds the pool. The beachside area, shaded by towering willow trees, is an excellent place for families to relax at picnic tables as the kids splash about in the rock pool.
A small area has been created so that youngsters and guests who don’t want to swim too deep may still enjoy the pool.

For using the toilet or changing clothes, visitors have their pick of two separate bathrooms. Also, please notice that dogs are not permitted in the pool area. With so much open green space, locating a place to relax is simple, and undeveloped camping is said to be possible.
The official opening date is around June 1st, depending on the weather. On Monday of Labor Day weekend, they usually close. Seasonal hours are 12 pm to 9 pm daily. Entry fees are charged based on age group.
