An hour’s drive from Boise, Idaho, Givens Hot Springs is nestled amidst the Owyhee Mountains in Melba. Discovered in 1881, the mineral-rich water at this site has been attracting locals and tourists alike for over a century.
Visitors to Givens Hot Springs have the option of either swimming in the main pool or soaking in a personal tub. Access to this site comes at a modest fee and bathing suits, towels and floaties are available to rent. Additionally, senior swim and arthritis exercise classes are offered twice a week.

For those bringing infants and small children, note that this facility requires that all children under the age of 3 must wear swim diapers. Furthermore, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied in the water by a parent or someone above the age of 18 at all times, and swim lessons are available on-site.
Camping and Cabins
For those wishing to spend the night, Givens Hot Springs offers cabins as well as dry camping and RV hookups at the parks surrounding the pools. Campers have access to the site’s wifi in addition to showers, picnic tables, and fire-pits, as long as they bring their own wood. I
Note: RV camping is free for only 2 people.
If you aren’t the camping type, Givens offers rustic cabins and trailers, which are especially suitable for couples. The trailers are equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, AC, heater, and wifi, offering a more comfortable experience, though, you will have to bring your own cooking utensils.
There is also an event center at Givens Hot Water Springs where you can arrange family reunions or official meetings.
