Golden Haven Hot Springs Spa & Resort – Calistoga, CA

If you’re looking for a chunk of gold within Napa Valley County, you might head over to the Golden Haven Hot Springs and Resort in Calistoga, California. This fabulous family-owned and operated resort is known for its impressive mud bath, a four-part, an hour-long treatment designed to rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul.

Whether you’re someone who enjoys sauntering through the waters of a pool or prefers to sit back, relax, and let jets massage away your troubles, you can find exactly what you’re looking for at Golden Haven. Golden Haven comes with three incredible options for hot mineral water enthusiasts.

Guests can enjoy the covered, year-round swimming pool, a large-sized pool with plenty of room to roam around and relax with inviting temperatures hovering around 86°F. Secondly, you can opt for one of the jetted tubs – one featuring temps ranging from 98°F to 100°F, and the other slightly warmer with temps up to 104°F.

Regardless of how you choose to soak, you’ll know you’re engulfing your body with some of the most nutrient-dense and soothing waters in California. And when you’re ready to work on that tan, don’t hesitate to sunbathe under the warm California sun on the deck or recreation area.

Mud Bath Experience

Are you considering a trip to Golden Haven? No trip is complete without the popular “Golden Haven Mud Bath Experience,” an hour-long treatment that will leave you feeling like a new person. The four-part procedure for couples and friends starts with a dip into the deliciously hot, inviting, and detoxifying mud bath.

A clay mask and cool compress are applied to the face, taking your experience instantly to new heights. After the mud bath, guests are moved into a mineral hot springs bath that continues the detoxification while relieving every ache, pain, and soreness in the body. A cool drink is served to refresh and rehydrate while every inch of stress is released.

The treatment finishes by slinking underneath a light flannel, where you will ultimately discover your inner sanctuary next to the flicker of a salt lamp.

While the Golden Haven Resort is widely known for its “Mud Bath Experience,” the resort is also famous for its other impressive spa treatments. Essentially, when you plan a trip to Golden Haven, you’re planning the ultimate getaway that can rejuvenate you from head to toe.

Massages

Golden Haven offers two types of top-notch massage services. You can opt for a massage with a human touch, such as an entire body or deep tissue massage. Or you can choose to go contactless with a hydro massage that uses water to massage the body – with your clothes on.

Herbal Facials

Consider the herbal facial if you want to leave the resort with radiant skin. Beginning with a tea steam followed by a gentle oatmeal exfoliating scrub and cleansing clay, from there, a moisturizing mask is applied. The treatment ends with a toner rinse. Basically, it’s a five-star treatment for your face.
