The Home Hotel – Lava Hot Springs, Idaho

Centrally located in Lava Hot Springs, ID, The Home Hotel has been a part of the town’s identity for over a century. It provides access to the downtown area, and the hotel is notable for its in-room natural hot springs baths.

Opened in 1918, the property provides spacious and comfortable rooms along with outstanding hospitality. Even though the outside of the building shows its age, the guest rooms have been remodeled with some modern flair. Many shopping and restaurant venues are within walking distance, and the city’s world-famous hot pools are less than a half-mile away.

There are 27 rooms at The Home Hotel, and 24 of them feature in-room hot tubs that can be directly filled with scalding, pure geothermal water. While most of the baths are indoors and in the private bathrooms, one room known as the “Patio Room” has an outdoor jacuzzi instead. Another outside communal jacuzzi is also located on the property, and it’s only for hotel guests.
