Indian Springs Bath Houses, New Mexico

Indian Springs Bath Houses – Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

June 8, 2022 By //  by Michelle Keldgord

Those seeking a quirky yet delightful hot springs experience in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, should check out the Indian Springs Bath Houses. This funky, hole-in-the-wall establishment is the ideal getaway for anyone who wants a genuinely rustic and relaxing adventure.

The Indian Springs Bath Houses were initially created in 1927 under the name Langford Tourist Courts. Although the business has certainly evolved from its mid-twentieth century roots, the architecture and appeal have remained the same. Today, it is the go-to for soakers that want to indulge in healing mineral waters without the bells and whistles of upscale resorts.

The tranquil Indian Springs Bath Houses have two hot spring baths to choose from, both offering a private and rejuvenating experience. Each is designed with predominantly natural materials (such as redwood and lava rock) and gravel bottoms to encourage an all-natural flow of the healing waters. Guests can higher and lower the temperature as desired.

The first bath is the small bath, a 4×4 escape for up to two people. This bath comes equipped with a convenient pump that circulates the water and activates jets to soothe muscles and promote an unwinding experience through the entire body.

The large bath is 6×8 and can be used by up to six people at once. Natural, crystal-clear waters consistently flow in this bath, offering a peaceful and enjoyable experience with no pump required.

Walk-ins are welcome at this hot springs destination, but reservations are recommended.
