Natural Hot Spring Pool
Geothermally heated mineral water emerges from a nearby source at 160° F before being piped into the resort. By the time the healing water reaches the pool, it has cooled to a perfect temperature of around 102° F, though this may vary slightly with the seasons.
The water is designed to continually flows to ensure that the pools are fresh and clean. To further improve sanitation, the pool is drained, pressure-washed, and cleaned each week. This creates a spotless atmosphere perfect for relaxation in the healing water.
Besides the large hot spring pool, Mundo Hot Springs also features a spa. Here, the geothermally heated mineral water is kept at a slightly higher temperature. The pool area is available for day use for a fee, and Mundo also offers season passes for families, couples, or individuals. Children are allowed in the pool, but kids under thirteen years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Mundo Hot Springs’ pool is wheelchair accessible.
Lodging
Mundo Hot Springs has a few accommodations. Of these, the most unique is definitely the Poolhouse. This large house features two bedrooms, a sizeable living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms can be rented individually or you can choose to rent the entire house.
The most exciting part of the Poolhouse is the private, guaranteed access to the hot spring pool and spa after-hours.
