While some people prefer luxurious resorts with all the amenities, others prefer the rustic, natural environment of a primitive site like Nimrod Warm Spring in Montana. This 70°F year-round hot spring boasts clear blue waters, perfect for a day of swimming, relaxing, and enjoying Montana’s beauty.
When you reach Nimrod Warm Spring, the first thing you will notice is what appears to be a small lake stretching out before you. The water is crystal clear with a soft blue hue, and on a good day, you can see straight to the bottom.
Fresh spring water fills the pool by cascading down a beautiful rock wall, giving a tropical feeling to this roadside oasis.

The water stays a comfortable 70°F year-round and is a popular swimming spot for local college students. Around this sizeable warm spring are beautiful rolling hills, sporadically dotted with tall trees. This is a great spot to swim, have a picnic, and enjoy the mineral-rich waters.
Note: Camping is not permitted.
For the more adventurous, there is a hidden cave you can reach by swimming beneath the rock face. It is only a few feet in but do so at your own risk!
