Hot Springs Pools
With no chlorine and all-natural heating that relies on the intricate hot springs, Sam’s offers five options for visitors to dip into. There is one large pool and four small ones.
The largest pool is located in a fenced area. While it is the coolest of the five pools, it still reaches an impressive 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This pool is not covered. In some areas, it is as shallow as 3.5 feet and then it deepens to 6 feet. It’s the perfect pool for families to enjoy. There is enough room for kids and adults to play around in the warm water.
The other four pools are much smaller. Each one is located beneath sun covers throughout the year. The temperature of the four pools ranges from 102 to 104 degrees F.
Two of the pools tend to be one or two degrees warmer than the other two. Visitors can have fun wading and sitting in these relaxing springs to find the kind of temperature they like the most.
Camping and Lodging
If you are looking to spend the night, there are several options: RV sites, camping sites, fully-furnished park model rentals, and motel rooms.
There are 184 full RV hook-up sites. These sites provide water, power, and sewage help. While you cannot reserve a spot ahead of time, you can almost always count on spots being available.
Camping sites are available for guests who would prefer to pull out tents and sleep under the stars.
143 fully-furnished mobile home units are there for guests that are hoping to stay with a little more comfort. Rent these for a few days to have access to the hot springs and the other amenities available.
Lastly, there are 14 full-serviced motel rooms. These come with cleaning services and comfortable beds.
Other Activities
For the times that you would like a break from the hot springs, guests have access to volleyball courts, duck ponds, picnic areas, recreation rooms, play areas, and a book exchange library. There is no shortage of things to do here.
One of the coolest things that guests can see at the resort is to observe all of the birds around. See if you can spot the peacocks, doves, chickens, or the black swan. Depending on the time of year, you may even see migrating birds stopping along their way.
