Shoshone Hot Springs Pool – Death Valley, California

November 17, 2022 By //  by Patricia K

In the heart of Shoshone Valley, you’ll find Shoshone Hot Springs in a village with a warm and soothing hot spring pool, lodging, and cozy campsites. This is a good place for travelers to start their trip through Death Valley National Park.

The Crowbar Café and Saloon, Charles Brown General Store, and Shoshone Museum are all within walking distance of the hot spring, which is situated in the center of Shoshone Village.

Natural Hot Springs Pools

At the back of the campsite is an area with a swimming pool fed by hot spring waterfalls, which is a great place to hang out and relax. The warm pool is about 90 ℉, making it ideal for decompressing after a long day of hiking. Use the water to refresh yourself whenever you need a moment of peace and quiet. Umbrellas, lounge chairs, and positive energy surround the pool.

Camping and Lodging

There are four types of accommodations at Shoshone: vacation rentals, tent campsites, RV spaces, and rooms at their inn.

The Shoshone Inn is a blend of quaint and modern features, with a heavy dose of kindness sprinkled on top. The hotel has 17 rooms, all of which have WiFi and regular telephones, and 5 of which also have kitchenettes, making them ideal for extended visits.

A cottage named Whiffletree is also available for booking. Check-in is between the hours of 12 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The RV park and campground are large, and there are lovely hiking trails just beyond. There are 25 full hookup sites and a wide variety of campsites, and it is dotted with shade trees and an open sky. The hot springs pool, fire pit, library, and other amenities are available to all visitors.

The vacation rentals are close to the entrance to the park and have all the comforts of home. After a day of touring the park and seeing the natural treasures of the Shoshone and Southern Amargosa basin, you can unwind in one of these fantastic locations.

Each of the units has everything needed to make meals. These houses are in the middle of nowhere, so keep in mind that the nearest supermarket is a half-hour away.
