Hot Treatments
SKYSPA recommends starting each cycle with 15-20 minutes in one of the hot areas listed below to dilate pores and blood vessels, releasing toxins:
- Finnish saunas
- Whirlpools
- Eucalyptus steam bath
- Outdoor warm pool
- Aufguss
The last on this list is a traditional German ritual when the sauna master pours essential oil-infused water onto the heat source, increasing the humidity before circulating the hot air with dance-like towel movements.
One such experience offered is The Glow, a blacklight aufguss complete with beats and glowing paint. Citrus essential oils are as energizing as the primal atmosphere. Shots of cold juice and ice jolt the body to full consciousness to finish it off.
The Signature Sky offers a tamer, more traditional option for those new to the aufguss or those who prefer it.
Many of the saunas and whirlpools have stunning city views, including multiple rooftop pools. After all, SKYSPA is located on the 17th floor.
Cold Treatments
Follow a relaxing hot treatment with at least 15 seconds of one of the following cold spaces to invigorate the body and boost blood circulation and adrenaline.
