Solage Resort & Spa, California

Solage Resort & Spa – Calistoga, California

November 11, 2022 By //  by Patricia K

In the picturesque, hot spring-filled, and historic town of Calistoga, California, you’ll find Solage – An Auberge Resort. The bathhouse and spa at Solage are home to five hot spring pools in addition to a full-service spa and comfortable accommodations.

When Calistoga was founded 100 years ago, it was because of the town’s proximity to Napa Valley’s gorgeous weather and boiling natural hot springs. Due to its high quality of life in winemaking, food, and health, it has become a must-see for people interested in these things and others.

This property welcomes day guests and visitors who want to spend the night. Those coming just for the day to use the pools or another service have to pay an extra admission fee. Overnight guests are given complimentary access to the thermal pools, classes, and spa facilities.

Natural Hot Spring Pools

Use the geothermal waters on the property to improve your health by making your blood flow faster and giving your body a boost. Visitors can also cleanse their systems in the infrared sauna or steam room. Find out about the bathhouse’s rituals to see how you can make the most of your time there by doing different circuits.

The pools are not clothing-optional and co-ed. Their five collections include:

Restorative Mineral Jetted Pool – A pool heated to between 102 and 104 °F, with jets spraying mineral water. This choice is excellent for releasing tight muscles and joints, allowing for more natural motion.

Saline pool – It has jets and is heated to between 102 and 104 °F. Enjoy a massage from the pool’s strong jets while floating effortlessly in saltwater.

Magnesium-rich pool – It has a more mild, warm temperature and can aid with muscular pain, tension, and sleep, so the claims go.

Relaxation Pool – A toasty 98 °F pool perfect for unwinding in. Since the water in this pool is kept at about the same temperature as your body, you may rest and unwind without effort.

Plunge Pool – Maintains a refreshing 60°F to 65°F. As the endorphins flood your system, you’ll feel more energized and happy.

There is also an excellent workout facility with a wide range of classes taught by qualified instructors each week and various training equipment. Day guests will not have access to the exercise center.
