Located all on private property near Mount Shasta and Weed, California, the Pneuma Retreat Center houses has multiple facilities and overnight accommodations to host private groups. Sadly, there are no hot springs here to soak in.

The former Stewart Mineral Hot Springs’ bathhouse, sauna, and massage rooms are closed. Unfortunately, there are no mineral baths in any of the rooms. Guests are welcome to sit in ponds down by the creek, which has some level of minerals (albeit lower than before used in the baths).

It’s all about rest and recovery at the Pneuma Retreat Center. Nature is on showcase here and relaxing is easy with the sounds of wildlife and water all around. “Pneuma” is of Greek origin and translates to “spirit”. Pets are not welcome except for ADA service animals, nor is alcohol, smoke, or drugs.

Private Group Accommodations near Mount Shasta

 

Private Group Retreats are available and have included various family groups, meditation, writers, yogis, tai-chi, qigong, psychology training, and others. Staff is there to give proper service throughout your group’s stay.

There are various accommodations and facilities for guests, including Golden Akhalden Hall, Dining/Conference Hall, and Shamball Hall. These halls can fit anywhere from 40 to 70 guests seated or a lesser amount of yoga mats.

Heading to Mount Shasta is thought of as a pilgrimage, found 20 minutes from Stewart Springs. At Mt. Shasta you’ll find a huge network of hiking and biking trails, as well as picnic spots, or winter skiing.
