Symes Hot Springs Hotel & Mineral Baths – Hot Springs, Montana

Experience the true Old West at Symes Hot Springs Hotel and Mineral Baths in Western Montana. This historic property is one of the region’s few remaining grand resort hotels.

Hidden halfway between Missoula and Kalispell, Symes Hot Springs is situated a beautiful rural town of agriculture and tourism. All the hosts at Symes will make sure you enjoy every bit of your vacation while visiting Hot Springs, MT. It has been noted as one of the top hot springs in the winter, by such authors as Nathanial Altman in “Healing Springs of the World”.

The Native American tribes of the northwest knew the area as “Big Medicine”. It was has long been a favorite of visitors to Montana. The Mineral Baths are full of history.

Out in the front of the hotel lies a hot springs flow thru pool, with a waterfall in the middle. The two pools are 101°F and 106°F. There’s also a big swimming pool filled with natural water. It has dimensions of 20 x 40 feet and 5 feet deep.

Private soaking is available in 4 of the original clawfoot tubs, located in the Bath Wing. You can also rent either a two-person jetted hot springs tub or jacuzzi steam hourly. Swedish massage is available in the spa, as are a variety of treatments.

There are 31 rooms at the historic Symes Hot Springs Hotel. One of them is a Jacuzzi Suite for those looking for their own jetted mineral spa. For those needing larger accommodations, consider the 15 cabins and convenience apartments.

In addition to soaking in the hot springs, rejuvenating in the day spa, and lounging in your hotel room, there’s plenty else to do at the resort. There’s a restaurant on-site and espresso bar. An art gallery and live music will keep things interesting, as well as the gift shop selling local crafts.
