Located 35 miles from Boise in the town of Sweet, Roystone Hot Springs, RV Park & Event Center is an entertainment and camping facility for the whole family. Whether you’re interested in hosting a family reunion, an RV trip, or stopping by for a swim, this venue has a lot to offer.
Not only is there an on-site hot springs pool and hot tub, but the property has a nice recreation area with horseshoes, frisbee golf, volleyball, and a game room. Visitors can also conveniently use the laundry facility during overnight stays. Outdoor shelters can be rented for picnics or gatherings.
Hot Springs Pool and Hot Tub
Reservations are mandatory to use both the pool and hot tub. At this time, they do not allow shared use of the waters, just private sessions.
With a source of 160 °F, these hot springs are toasty and wonderful for decompressing while warming up. As the all-natural hot springs water travels to the swimming area, it cools down to temperatures more suitable for swimming and soaking. No alcohol is allowed in the area, and swimsuits are mandatory.
The hot tub area can fit around 10-12 people at once and stays at a cozy temperature of 104 °F. There are jets and bubblers in the jacuzzi that make it an ideal place to relax in total comfort. The swimming pool holds a temperature of about 95-99 °F and is more appropriate for young kids.
Event Center—The Spring House
At 3,500 square feet in size, the Spring House is an ideal venue for any celebration. There are 12 large tables, roughly 150 seats, and massive refrigerators, stoves, and sinks. The venue has easy access to water features, the camping ground, the leisure area, and outdoor seating.
Camping at the RV Park
The RV park has 20 spots with full hook-ups, along with free WiFi, a dump station, and unlimited access to the recreation area. Guests are welcome to stay for several months during the winter, from October to April, and pay a monthly rate, but daily stays are also available. Pets are allowed, but vehicles that stay longer than a month in the off-season must be the year 2000 or newer.
Tent campsites are also available, and large groups of up to 35 can be accommodated. Travelers should bring their own firewood and water, as the property only has hot springs water.
