Hot Springs Pools

There are several soaking options to choose from at this Agua Caliente resort. The main swimming pool features a marble deck surrounded by tall palm trees. There are plenty of shaded seating areas and tables. The swimming pool water is warm and refreshing in the hotter summer heat. There’s also an outdoor hot spring soaking pool, measuring roughly 15 by 7 feet.

Inside is the real gem at Valparaiso Aguas Termales. The cool dome building next to the swimming pool has a dry sauna and another hot springs pool. The sauna requires everyone sit on a mat to ensure pristine conditions. The indoor pool donut shaped with a flat, circular rock in the middle that you can sit or lie on. Silence is required of all guests inside to provide a meditative and therapeutic environment.

Men and women each have their locker room for changing and showers. The outdoor pools are for everyone. However, the indoor pool and sauna are only for adults. The hot springs do have a sulfur smell.

The in-house day spa offers a variety of massage and body therapy. There is also a private indoor hot springs tub. You can join a group yoga class when in session.
