Boulder Hot Springs Montana

Boulder Hot Springs Inn – Boulder, Montana

July 7, 2022 By //  by Matt Thomas

Come and relax in this historic hot springs Montana treasure and experience the tranquility of the wild. Nationally registered as one of the historic places in Montana, the Boulder Hot Springs Inn, Spa & Retreat Center has been healing Montanan guests for the past century.

Set in the foothills of the Elkhorn Mountains, the area is formerly known as Peace Valley. Long ago, otherwise warring tribes would hold ceremonies and healing rituals in the springs without conflict.

Hot Spring Pools

Pools are filled with geothermal water that’s good for soaking and swimming. The indoor pool is always kept at around 104 to 106 degrees Fahrenheit, while the massive outdoor pool is kept at 92 to 100, depending on the season.

Accommodations

Boulder Hot Springs
Boulder Hot Springs lodge in Boulder, MT.

Boulder Hot Springs had been recently remodeled, but the foundation of the house stays true to its original form. They offer a variety of Bed & Breakfast rooms that fit any type of budget. Whether you’re just a couple out on a weekend, or a big group going out for a company retreat, Boulder Hot Springs has always been one of the favorite go-to’s in town.

Each room/suite is partnered with a hearty breakfast in the morning (which can be customized based on your needs), natural fiber sheets, toiletries, and Internet access. Since the location is quite secluded, each room offers amazing views of the outdoors, while still affording you luxurious comfort.

Spa and Retreat Center

Aside from the pools, Boulder Hot Springs has a special spa service that’s in line with its healing approach. They feature an array of massage experts with different styles, which they can assist you in pairing with. Reservations should be made in advance.

Conference and retreat facilities can be reserved to de-stress and get pampered regardless of the focus of the weekend. Rooms have a capacity of 40-100 people. Hiking is another guest favorite. People hoping to relax on the property can take advantage of an ever-changing list of workshops and classes in skills like art and yoga.

To enjoy the full Boulder Hot Springs experience, the hotel can even assist you in exploring walking and exercise activities. One thing you can check out is their local “Health Mine.” Just ask about this tour and the concierge will be able to guide you with this activity.
