Fire Water Lodge Hot Springs Spa – Truth or Consequences, NM

The Fire Water Lodge is a hot springs oasis in the southern New Mexico high desert. It’s located in downtown Truth or Consequences in the middle of the Historic Bathhouse District on North Broadway Street.

This full-service resort provides overnight lodging, natural hot springs soaks, and a plethora of spa treatments. What’s cool about staying the night here is that each room has its own dedicated private soaking tub, filled with geothermal hot mineral water.

For as long as known human history, the town’s geothermal hot springs have been used as sacred healing grounds. The water is loaded with minerals, all helping the body heal naturally. There is no sulfur in the water, so no odor to worry about.

All overnight guests have access to their own thermal mineral bathtub in their room. There are 6 rooms with a private tub inside the room and 4 rooms with an outdoor enclosed tub. Its temperature flows out between 104 and 108 degrees Fahrenheit. The tubs are refilled with hot mineral water for each new guest.

Spa Treatments

The Spa provides traditional services such as massage and reflexology. All treatments are performed by their own healing arts professionals. There’s even a tarot card reader in-house. All services are done by appointment.

The Fire Water Lodge is a unique 1920s motor court motel fully restored for your modern-day comfort. The ambiance is welcoming and classic New Mexico desert theme. All the motel-style guestrooms surround a garden courtyard, which features numerous lounge chairs and a wonderful fire pit.

Every room at the Lodge has its own private hot springs tub, so you never need to leave your room for a soak. Some are inside, some are outdoors. The hand-crafted furniture and local artwork add to the New Mexican charm. The rooms come with free WiFi, a king or queen bed, cable TV, mini-refrigerator, microwave, heater, and air conditioner, as well as a couple of bath robes to leisure around the property.
