An amazing little city of over 22,000 people in Southern Oregon, Ashland makes a terrific choice for a hot springs getaway. There are a few choices in town for soaking and many more in Southern Oregon and Northern California if you’re willing to road trip.
Ashland is surrounded by conifer forests, rolling hills, and mountains, yet not from the coast either. Add in Oregon thermal springs to the itinerary and what a holiday no matter the time of year.

Jackson WellSprings – 2 miles
Situated on 30 acres, Jackson WellSprings is found just next to Lithia Springs Resort on Highway OR-99. It’s centered around their Olympic-sized swimming pool filled with hot mineral springs. The on-site spa has the hot springs soaking pool and private tubs for rent. There’s also a sauna and steam room.
Those looking to stay the night can choose between some level of camping and glamping. Depending on your comfort level, you can reserve spots for a tent, a car campout, an RV campsite with full hookup, or a glamping setup in either a dome, bell tent, or tipi.
Reservations and walk-ins are both welcome for soaking sessions at Jackson Wellsprings. They are open daily, year-round, with certain family-friendly times that require proper swimwear, and adult-only (18+) nights where suits are optional, as well as ladies’ nights (and lady campers).
